I'm working on a project with a business model similar to Wordpress.com and Drupal Gardens: we allow people to create a site for free then up-sell them on stuff like access to more themes, etc.*

We really want to use Commerce (for various reasons) so I've been looking into setting up a D7 + Commerce front-end with an Aegir back-end for provisioning sites, connected by Aegir Services.

I noticed there's some talk of working on Aegir Services and Commerce integration and would like to know: who's interested in working on Aegir Commerce and Aegir Services? Are you up for some co-operation and do you need the integration done for a particular deadline?

* It's for a niche market though, not competing with either of those ideas in any way.
