Domain Email Server Suggestions

I am currently using Aegir to run 6 small drupal websites from Linode. Previously, I have used Windows Live Admin center to run my domain email, but that service is being shutdown.

I do not like the idea of running my own email server, but I also don't like the idea of paying $5/month/user for Google or Office 360. I'm considering purchasing Bluehost hosting again, just so they can handle my webmail, but I would keep my aegir running on Linode.

Does anyone have suggestions on how they setup their domain email for the sites they run on Aegir?

Outgoing mail from the Aegir server could be routed via e.g. bluehost. Apart from that it's just pointing your MX records to the right place.
