1) I have checked permission settings... I have granted permissions 777 to the entire files directory to test. 2) I have changed ownership to tcotn:www-Data 3) updated all modules and cleared cache with drush and drupal 4)checked user permissions

The problem is I have verified this bug exists on a stock pressflow 6 install with no other modules but the image cache and dependant image api enabled. The problem remains. I am using different threads to trouble shoot the problem...

I know in the latest readme you said:

Added custom fix required only when using purl, spaces & og for modules: ajax_comments, watcher and fasttoggle.
Simplified rewrite rules for location @drupal resolves also some problems with imagecache.
I dont think the problems are resolved
