Offsite backup possibilities

Is there an option for offsite backups, preferably something that ties in with hosting site backup manager (https://drupal.org/project/hosting_site_backup_manager)?

Not at the moment... easiest is to setup an rsync job to sync /var/aegir/backups/

Just for reference: how long do you think it would take a aegir/drush expert to create a module that does what I'm requesting, with possible plugins for FTP; Amazon S3; ... We might hire somebody to do it, we need to estimate the costs first though
